Suzanna has been designing & making things ever since she
can remember.
Her favorite mediums will probably always be wet sand,
twigs & leaves, and sidewalk chalk, but she has
since moved on to more practical things.
When she was 11 years old, she went to the library and checked
out a book on HTML. She has been making websites ever since.
Suzanna is also NC Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and
a yoga instructor. Visit
her massage website here.
In her free time, she likes to trail run (with
the trailheads), ride bikes, swim, take naps, read, write
postcards, draw on napkins, and imagine what it might be like
to have her own garden.
Her favorite poem is the “Sunflower
Sutra” by Allen Ginsberg, which she wholeheartedly
recommends everyone read and carry around in their pocket.

Design Process
My job as a designer is to listen to what you or your
company is all about -- your goals, your clients, your message,
your intention -- and find a way to communicate it all visually.
The first thing I'll have you do is fill out my
design questionnaire(s). The things I ask are really meant
to get you brainstorming about your needs, likes/dislikes, and
general expectations for design. If you're not so much a language
person, you can end me photos or clipart. You can bring me fabrics
or stationary, or pages out of books or magazines. You can even
send me music! Whatever inspires and feels like "you"
can work.
After you submit your answers, I will come up with a price quote
based on your needs. If that's all good, I'll write out a contract
that we'll both sign. Then I will get to work on your project!
I always make sure to keep in close touch with you as the design
is developing. That way you can influence the direction of the
design if you see it going one way, or we can take it another
way. One of the cool things about this process is all the inspiration
that's created! Seeing or hearing other ideas can help spawn
even more ideas. Probably the hardest part is making the final
decision!
