Natalie Gilbert is experiencing her third autumn in Durham, North Carolina, although she has been in the area for 28 summers as Music Director of the renowned American Dance Festival held at Duke University.
A decision to leave her job as music coordinator in the Department of Dance at the Ohio State University gave her the opportunity to explore a whole new life, and a whole new profession - massage therapy.
Natalie completed her massage therapy training with her daughter, Suzanna at the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City. She is on staff at Duke Diet & Fitness Center. She sees private clients in her home office.
Natalie draws from many years of close work with the body through her work as a musician for dance. She is interested in the confluence of massage, music, and the arts.
